Product Review: TP-Link AC750 Wireless Travel Router

Final Thoughts

Over the course of a few family trips, I have highly enjoyed making use of the TP-Link TL-WR902AC Wireless Travel Router. The small size allows me to bring it with us anywhere we go were we might have Wi-Fi. It allows our electronic connected devices to seamless make use of the remote Wi-Fi connection when we have settled in.

Having the option for wither 2.4GHz or 5GHz connection is great too. The previous device I used was 2.4GHz only and having the option of 5GHz allows faster data rates between our electronics, specially when it comes to sharing videos or photos.

The TP-Link has also allowed us to improve a Wi-Fi signal. When we stay on Hornby, the cabin we stay at is on the edge of a Wi-Fi network. Our devices would drop their connection intermittently, but when making use of the travel router, the Wi-Fi connection is in a way, extended so that we can have good Wi-Fi signal and the TP-Link TL-WR902AC can stay in one spot to maintain the initial connection.

The cost of the TP-Link TL-WR902AC Wireless Travel Router is pretty low as well, you can pick it up for about $50-60 CDN over on Amazon. I think it is actually less expensive than the previous model I had and this one has more features!

If you ever travel, locally or around the world and you have multiple devices that can be connected to the Internet, I would highly recommend checking out the TP-Link TL-WR902AC Wireless Travel Router.

Pros

  • Small size
  • 2.4GHz and 5GHz capability
  • Price

Cons

  • Short USB power cable provided
  • Cannot improve signal over a large distance
